Our dogs get raw natural diet, and also the puppies born in our kennel will start with a raw natural diet.
Why would you give your dog Natural Raw Food?
First, because dogs are carnivores, this should be the main reason that you feeding your dog as natural as possible. A dog can get complaints of different nature if he does not get natural food. This can range from intestinal complaints (vomiting, diarrhea, soft stool, defecate a lot, not eating, eating to much), skin problems (excessive hair loss, itching, eczema, greasy hair, etc.), gums disease, plaque or tartar, listlessness, overweight, you name it.
The biggest villain is corn. Dogfood would not have compact shapes if they are not
primarily corn existed. Now of course there are bad and less bad chunks, but the
fact remains that a carnivore will not come fully to there right on a diet mainly
of cereals. Also a dog chunk will not stay unsustainable without chemical additives,
and many dogs would not eat it if there was not using large amounts of fragrance,
coloring and flavoring to give it a better taste.
More dogs get allergies from the large quantities cereals in the diet. Skin and coat problems are the most seen. But many people also do not know that chuncks have another disadvantage: the teeth and gums are not properly used or massaged. Diseases of the teeth cause many problems. Dr. Tom Lonsdale, an Australian veterinarian, has specialized in these issues and has studied the effect of nutrition on natural teeth and gums. His book can be read free on his website, http://www.rawmeatybones.com, this will clarify a lot!
But how do you start? When you first read all this, how do you introduce your dog naturally? How much should you give him? In what proportions should you feed him? What do you feed him? How do you get your meat, bones and organs?
There are various forums available on the Internet. There are differences of opinion, and ideas in what and how you can best feed your dog . Search for a Natural Nutrition Forum that represents the most natural diet, so far as possible based on how a dog would eat in nature (ground meat sold as "completely fresh", does not belong here in our vision because it has no ameliorative effect on teeth, gums and entrails).
